Any opinions on this Robinson autograph?

For sure I do not like it at all but looking for other opinions.

Is it April 1 already? Somebody has to be pulling our legs with this thing.

That's absurd. This is either a massive error by UD or an instance of someone cutting open a card, taking out the (presumably authentic) cut autograph, and replacing it with a ridiculous fake. That practice is relatively common with jersey/patch cards, don't know how feasible it is with autographs.

Thanks for the much-needed laugh, Randy. There has to be a story behind that one. Can't imagine UD would really produce that atrocity.

It is an UD issued card. Maybe as has been suggested someone took out the real autograph and replaced it with this one then sent it to Beckett who slabbed it based on the card being UD authenticated by a 3rd party. I doubt PSA/DNA or JSA authenticated this one. Back does not state who authenticated it for UD.
