As a long time Dormand collector and contributor to the "master list" I have the Bauer, Stengel and Shantz you asked about but have never seen that variation of the Collins. So if it exists I need it also.

The Collins exists. I have seen it and think I may have a picture of it I will try to find and post.

Trading Card Database has this pic of what I'm guessing is the Collins mentioned.

If they do, I hope they contact me first. So far nothing on any of them. Have not seen any of them on Ebay in the last few years.

Absolutely you get the first one. Maybe a bunch will pop up like the infamous Gil Hodges ! Please let me know when you locate the second one.

I have been looking for (5) for the last few years. The (4) I mentioned and the Phil Rizzuto small autograph version which I finally found a couple of weeks ago in a small group lot.

Have not seen any of the other 4 pop up on Ebay or in any other auctions.

I assume they are all pretty tough.

You would know better than me.

And I was just kidding about the first one. It is all fair game.

The hunt is what makes it interesting.

A friend of mine had been looking for the toughest 1952 Star Cal for years(Busby/Zarilla) to complete a tough set and a board member here found the only one that has appeared in years and bought it and held it for my friend at his cost although he also needed it for his set and the chances of it showing up again any time soon is near zero.

That type of loyalty to a friend is hard to find and is admirable.

A lot of good guys on this site!
