Canseco Variation
Anyone familiar with this variation? Apparently it's quite valuable.

Seller is member and sometime poster here who had an obsessive Canseco collection he broke up a few years back. Doubt that there are many folks that know more about Canseco cards than this seller

Yep, that’s just Tanner having fun.

he makes spectacular custom cards. He will do it for your kids with jersey relics etc. But you can also send in postcard autos, cheap relic groups, and he will make booklets, or quad relic cards. I'm thinking of doing something like that for my kids. My daughter is in gymnastics, and my son has started hockey.

This is too funny! I actually posted this a few months ago to raise awareness on the scam that was going on. Y'all, I was getting messages weekly "I gots this 89 Topps Canseco and the error cut off thingy on the back...ebay says it's worth $3 grand!"
I always would politely educate the seller that it wasn't true sales data, etc. but they still come. I figured hey - why not get people's attention with an ebay listing? It looks like it is working a bit, thankfully! Now, the messages I get off this listing ... smh. Someone said "This is just a card with googly eyes glued on." I told him he was correct, and I was just trying to raise awareness. His response? "Then why u sellin it?" me: "I'm not - hence the $5,000 price tag." His final response: "UR smart like Joe Biden" There have been a handful of things I've heard like that. :p:p:p |
I love the "ebay says..." nonsense. Dude, eBay ain't talking to you. If you're hearing voices, that's probably not eBay.
