How do you display broken bats?

I just picked up this shattered Barry Larkin bat. From the help of BNorth, he narrowed it down to 1991-1997. Sleuthing online, an auction house narrowed it down to 1991-93. Not sure how I want to display it, but this is its current state. I thought it might look nice in a shadow box.

I'd love to see examples of other shattered broken bats on display.

That's a great bat. I respect a broken bat, but I would probably swap the placement of the bats in the top photo.

I can't swap places on the bats. to get the full bat in the display, it must be placed diagonally.

1. Elevate the 2 Reds Hats on 4" Acrylic Risers
2. Place the 4 cards in FRONT of the Reds Hats, so they block the Risers
3. Place the 1990 World Series piece to the extreme left
4. Hide the broken portion of the black bat between the 4 Cards and risers
5. Place the Larkin Statue + 2 small Trophies atop the Caps

This will allow the full blonde bat to show through very visibly between the 3 figural pieces. It will also hide the fact that the black bat is missing the handle.

Hope this helps... Play with it a bit and you'll find a great solution.
