4 Attachment(s)
For the last twenty years, I have helped Cuban ballpayers survive in Cuba. I looked after Conrado "Connie" Marrero for the last 15 years of his long life and now help his family, Luis Zayas, the last suriving member of the Havana Sugar Kings in Cuban and a group of baseball historians dedicated to preserving the legacy of pre-revolutionary baseball in Cuba. This group erects marks on the gravesites of Cuban players in the Colon cemetery in Havana and discovered the remains of Cristobal Torriente a few years ago.

You can help in this worthy cause and win a prize! The prizes include the following:

1. Game worn Metropolitanos jersey once worn by Enrique Diaz, the Record King. Enriquito played for 26 seasons and retired as the National Series leader in games, at bats, runs, hits, triples and stolen bases. His hit record has been eclipsed. He is the only player to score 100 runs in a season and holds the single season stolen base record with 55.
2. Game worn uniform from Pinar Del Rio (c. 2014) signed by three Cuban stars: Enriquito Diaz, Yoandres Urgelles (.334 lifetime average over 22 seasons) and Omar Linares, considered the greatest post-revolutionary star and career .367 hitter.
3. 2014 or 2015 Industriales autographed baseball singed by all three Gurriel brothers: Yunieski, Yulieski and Lourdes Jr. They played together in Cuba for only two seasons and few balls signed by all three are around. It is also signed by other stars, includiing Alexander Malleta, Carlos Tabares, Shyler Herhandez and Frank Morejon.
4. Game used autogrphed bat signed by Hall of Famer, Larry Walker.

Send me a message if you are interested in entering the draw. Tickets are $25 each of 5 for $100. I estimate that approximately 150-200 tickets will be sold.
