NFTs
Who could have possibly predicted that buying $24 million in NFTs was a bad idea?

Watching the loud-mouthed finance bros getting gelded on these 'investments', well, let's just say I've had worse times. |
What I have a difficult time understanding is that people want to sue others because they made the decision to invest in something and it didn't work out. Perhaps I'll sue some of the guys on the board if the cards I purchased start dropping in price. My reason will be that I was misled. WTF is this world coming to? I should re-phrase that, WTF has this world become?

If they were marketed as "investments" there could be a leg to stand on.

We have very specific investment regulations in states (called "blue sky laws") and Federal, and they are pretty clear on what you can and cannot say in promoting something as an investment. I prefer to let the legal system play out than to condemn either side without the evidence being in. For all we actually know, the NFT promoters sold unregistered securities without complying with the law.
As for the bitching about lawyers, wait till you need one... |
