Anyone know how to tell a reprint from original 1933 All Star Game program?
The title says it all.
Anyone know how to tell a reprint from an original 1933 All Star Game program? If so please point out a way to tell the difference. I see a ton of reprint/repro/custom ones out there. Thanks in advance for any enlightenment you can provide |

Fred, I too would love to know as I picked one up recently from a rare book dealer, well known in the trade etc. I sent you photos but will also post them here. I hope it is not a reprint of course, but having doubts.
I have seen some reprints clearly marked, which this is not. |

That is a Reprint.
There is a trademark on the bottom of the scorecard page on the original ones. It's missing on yours. |
too clean and not visual age at all, you should be able to tell by just touching the paper, sometimes looking with a loop helps as well - reprint paper is similar to print of today and has different production types.
good luck and always do the research! Jimmy |
Thanks, thought so once I got it in hand. Much appreciated.

The one I have had the word reprint in small letters. Don’t know where it’s at right now but it wasn’t easy to spot. Found it, it’s says reprint under the umpires.
