Jackets/Sweaters looks to be 1910s Spalding style. Reminded me of the Harry Hooper 1912 WS jacket that has come up several times, I think? Identical, even, save the diamond arm patch ("S ny n"?)... hard to make out but my guess is once you ID the patch, you'll ID the photo. Keep us posted!

Probably a college team the N standing for Normal, one of many, many in each and every state back then. The R and large S are the other two components of which school.
