Living Brooklyn Dodgers
With the passing of Bobby Morgan there are now only six living who played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Can you name these six men? Two or very easy but the other four are a little difficult.

I will get the obvious ones out of the way, Koufax and Erskine (unless I missed something). No clue after that.

Well, I looked 'em up - only found three more...
'56- Bob Aspromonte - 1 game '57- Jim Gentile - 4 games '57- Fred Kipp - 1 game There must be someone on the Championship team that's still around. I'll go look again. nope...went back to '49 - couldn't find the mystery man. . |
The one you are missing is Tommy Brown.
The six and their age are: Carl Erskine...96 Tommy Brown...95 Fred Kipp...91 Jim Gentile...89 Sandy Koufax...87 Bob Aspromonte...85 |
Geez Raymond if you are going to jump the gun and look it up, at least do it right. :)

Tommy Brown is also the last living player to have appeared on a card from the 1940s; he appeared in the 1949 Bowman set. Pretty crazy to think we’re down to the last player from an entire decade.
