1955 Topps Doubleheaders
according to cardboard folklore, placed side by side in revers numerical order, the backgrounds in the 1955 Topps Doubleheaders set form a continuous stadium scene.
True I am four cards short of a full set and I'm not a puzzle expert. But it appears there are at five different stadium scenes? Has anyone ever laid out there cards to form this "continuous stadium scene"? https://i.imgur.com/r4JgIjzl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VmsjrNXl.jpg |

Topps took the idea from 1911? Mecca double fold cards. Such a great set and Topps calling them “double headers” nailed it!
It just worked out by luck that the stars got the head to toe side of the card… except for Banks I also think the players mimic the players in the first series of the regular Topps set. Cards can also be found with out the perforation. |

Very cool. Something I can look forward to when I finally complete my 55T DH set.
