Freddie Freeman
He's absolutely killng it. And it's no fluke, he's just 33 and he now has over 300 HR and 2000 hits. He's a virtual unknown in the hobby judging by some prices I just looked at -- a fraction of what the same cards of Trout go for. Thoughts?

Probably a HOFer; misses if he retires today but he's not liable to disappear next year and he doesn't need a whole lot more to get in. Hope he makes it and keeps performing like this.

By all accounts seems like a good guy and very solid player. I have been picking up his RC's over the years, especially the Topps Black when they show up. He definitely has a shot at 500/3000....my prediction (let'see how this ages) is winds up closer to 398/2700.

Impressive low-key HOF career so far. Only seems to be getting better with age (at least offensively).
Wish "Donny Baseball" had this type of run in his 30's. :( |
Reminds me of Chipper Jones. A HOFer, but never a hobby darling, either.

Baseball-reference's similarity scores are really just for fun (they don't mean much), but on Freeman they've got it right. He's an Eddie Murray clone.
|
Don't look now but he's up to .340.
|
He’s really good. I thought Acuna was running away with MVP but Freeman is making it close in my opinion.

Mookie is up to .310 with a boatload of homeruns and has played RF, 2b and SS.
