Scammers Still Scamming ...
 

Another friendly heads up that the scammers are still trying to scam just a much as possible, on buying and selling. Just now I had a request to make sure SB1 is Mark Cooper. LOL...

It's almost once a day I am getting a PM for this kind of scam attempt. There has to be a whole lot more being attempted, I am unaware of.
My understanding is they come in through Tapatalk, not my favorite app, as there is some kind of hole in it, or our outdated software in combination with it. Either way, please keep being careful.

My instincts were correct for once! I had scammers/spammers contact me back in like Jan or Feb of this year which was my third encounter in a relatively short amount of time. On a hunch/educated guess, I deleted that app. Haven't had any trouble since.....

You'd be amazed/horrified what info these apps are skimming/selling/leaking....most of them.

Received a PM from this Tapatalk bandit (jeffreybrad6) a couple of days ago. Like the attempt of eloquence in his delivery in the message…

Agree. The words and phrases these scammers use are so off you should be able to tell reflexively that something is wrong.

“Check this out, man”

“Let me know what your offer is”

“Text me at [an email address]”

I bet chatgpt could create a much more realistic reply
