Looking for a card... FOUND!
 

Hello,

I am looking for a card that was posted on this site within the last 3-4 months. I thought the card was Leon's so I searched every post (dude posts quite a bit) of Leon's back to May 1. No joy. Since, Leon was attending the National and likely had more important things on his mind, I waited until today to ask Leon about the card. Again, no dice.

The card is a black and white card. So, I can't recall the series. I believe it was a minor league card from the west coast (California?). I am guessing pre-1950. The card was likely a regional and not a major release. The reverse of the card for me was far more interesting than the front of the card. The back of the card was more of a coupon that was redeemable for a penny or ten cents which instructed the holder to collect the cards and redeem them for school sports equipment.

Have you seen this card on NET54?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
