For those who don’t know Damon Runyon he was a prolific sportswriter (and short story novelist). Many great articles over the earlier years in baseball - and also wrote the story that was the basis for “guys and dolls”

Great info. The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation is a key fund for professor and their work. It is especially important for people in their postdoctoral training as they fund their research. In my former lab we had a couple award recipients, and I was on another fellowship from the National Institutes of Health. Since I still do cancer research and this is near and dear to me, I'll PM you and gladly display this in my office. Going to be a great conversation piece!
