Michael Jordan Signed Air Jordan 13 Shoes - Upper Deck Authenticated
 

I am offering these Michael Jordan signed shoes on behalf of my friend who was a television Sports Director for nearly 40 years in Miami (1973-85) and Atlanta (1985-2010). During his career he worked closely with many professional and collegiate athletes and coaches and he formed long-lasting friendships with many of them.

One athlete he was especially close to was Hall-of-Fame boxer Evander Holyfield. In the late-1990s, Evander was being courted by the Nike shoe company for an endorsement contract. Nike sent this pair of Air Jordan shoes, both signed by Michael Jordan, to Evander as a gift. Evander then gifted the shoes to my friend and they were displayed in his home until recently.

The shoes (red/white Nike Air Jordan 13) are framed in a shadow box exactly as Nike sent them to Evander. Each shoe is signed by Michael Jordan and a “With the compliments of Michael Jordan” card is also housed in the shadow box. The Upper Deck hologram certification number is BAE 57976.
