Will Trout Get Screwed?

It could mean an earlier return to the line up.

He is having surgery and out 4 to 8 weeks.
I do not think he will be able to come back into the line up early.
Plus with him missing minimum the next 20 games they sadly maybe out of it before he gets back and this not worth risking him coming back before his time.

It was a freak injury and nothing could have prevented it but his injuries just keep piling up and hopefully his body does not break down with that contract and the history he could make with his skills

I agree. it's sad to see a generational talent hit a wall. KGJ career came to a clunky end for the last 10 years of his career.

A friend of mine had a similar injury. He was discussing it with his surgeon and asked about the cost of the procedure. The surgeon replied that it would be $2000, but if he needed to use a screw, it would be $3000.

My friend looked at the surgeon and said "Now I know that I am getting screwed."

With fixation of the fracture Trout should be able to return to the lineup sooner though.
