What do you think of the latest HOF class? Were there any players (not chosen) that you expected to get the call?


(Below) are the newest Hockey Hall Of Fame player inductees.

1) Henrik Lunquist
2) Pierre Turgeon
3) Tom Barrasso
4) Mike Vernon

The list is ok I just think Patrick Elias, Devils Leading scorer should have gotten in

Nice to see some of those guys get in. Saw a lot of Barrasso and Turgeon when they were with the Sabres, early in their careers, and when I was watching a lot more hockey.

I thought Turgeon was already in for some reason. :confused:

I remember Vernon mostly from those tough Calgary teams from that era.

Now to get Turgeons older brother and Hartford Whalers legend Sylvain some consideration, LOL. :D

What a waste man. Dude peaked at 21 years old. At least we fleeced the Devils out of Pat Verbeek for him, before it was too late to unload him. :)

Sylvain scored 30 goals in his 1 year in Jersey, then was traded for Claude Lemieux. He was part of 2 lopsided trades lol

Unless the Hansons get in, I ain't interested.

Damn, I forgot about that one. :eek:

Claude was a helluva player. A fitting replacement for getting rid of Verbeek.

Still waiting for Mogilny to get in

I was thinking about Mogilny to. He had a couple big years, but also missed a lot of games throughout his career, which is probably what has kept him out.

There are a few guys I was surprised weren't elected yet, Keith Tkachuk, Pat Verbeek and Peter Bondra come to mind
