Presented here is a 3 lot auction of 1953 Topps and 1947-66 Exhibits Please see scans for details. This listing is for (3) separate auctions. The story behind these lots in case anybody cares. These are all from the same childhood collection that I recently picked up. The person was a Yankees fan, so most of the 1953 Topps Yankees cards were bundled up separately from the rest of the '53 cards. Unfortunately many of the Yankees cards suffered some sort of moisture or humidity damage to the left border of the cards as shown. I didn't even notice it when I was first flipping through the cards, but it's obviously there as shown. The sharp looking Musial Exhibits were stored much more carefully, and were likely pulled in the early 50's from Vending machines. The lots are: Lot #1 - 1953 Topps Yogi Berra (Lot of 5 cards). Different stages of moisture/humidity stains on left borders as shown. Apparent more from the front of the cards, then the backs. Most are very nice looking otherwise, with one of them being in fairly PR condition as shown. Lot #2 - 1953 Topps Johnny Mize (Lot of 4 cards). 3 of the cards have different stages of moisture/humidity stains on left borders as shown. Apparent more from the front of the cards, then the backs. They are very nice looking otherwise. 1 of them escaped the moisture, but is a bit off-center as shown. Lot #3 - 1947-66 Exhibits Stan Musial (Lot of 3 cards). This group was likely pulled by the original collector in the early 1950's if it makes a difference to anybody. Very sharp looking group. I don't notice any creases, front or back. Just a little bit of edge and/or corner wear as shown. One of them has a very tiny pen or print mark on the back side, near the bottom left corner, as shown in the scans. Important Note - Using 10 minute rule at end of auction. Each auction closes to new bidders at 10:00pm. 10pm good, 10:01 is too late. After 10pm the clock starts for 10 minutes on each lot, and resets every time a previous bidder puts a bid in. Each lot will run on it's own separate clock. Example - for simplicity sake and because we don't have an actual countdown clock, lets make it a full 10 minute interval. (ie. bid goes in at 10:05 then all bids are good through 10:15 on the clock. 10:16 is too late) If you have not bid on a particular lot before 10:01pm, please do not bid on that lot in extended time.
