Classic Card Chronicles with Jay M and Joe G: New podcast

Hey all! Half way point until our next monthly podcast release on July 1st, so thought I’d announce our second pair of guests: Jay Miller and Joe Gonsowski (renowned Old Judge collectors, and the authors of the Old Judge book).
- Big news from within the podcast; they will update the 100 scarcest card list and Hall of fame scarcity list from the book released in 2008.
On July 1st, Andy Geller and I will release this episode on the newly renamed, “Classic Card Chronicles”, podcast. On YouTube and SoundCloud. We will also be discussing the Old Judge set, their opinions on it, ways to collect. Be on the lookout :)http://https://share.icloud.com/phot...oaYtMODIhCcK4w
- Link to the first episode with Jeff Lichtman: https://youtu.be/yKwA-FIA0l0

Josh, loved the episode. Seeing and listening about all those rare cards was awesome. Especially talking Cobb. I subscribed to the channel and can't wait to see more.

Also want to say that I love Jeff's mindset of the hobby. I caught myself shaking my head in agreeance with a lot of his outlooks and relatable stories which we have all been through.

I do have a question. Do you know why he collects Detroit players/coaches? Does he have any connection with the city or team? He mentions he has a good amount of Jennigs and even some Crawfords.

Jeff’s response;
“ Hmmmm. Well, I just have always loved Cobb. Jennings was a Cornell Law grad so he was an easy part of the team to collect as well. And Crawford was probably the second best player on the team and has some cool postcards.

Hal Chase, a criminal who was also a great early Yankee/Highlander, was the one player I collected due to my career as a criminal defense attorney (and New Yorker).”

Also he wanted to share these images

Any chance this will be made available on Apple podcasts? I don't often have an hour available to sit and listen when I'm at work or at home, but it would be the perfect length for my commute.

Hmm, maybe at some point? Need to figure out how to set that up. For now it is on YouTube and SoundCloud

Cogan's....

Disregard the PSA slip for a moment, and look at the name...

C O G A N ' S

The first letter is a C. If you think it's a G, then look at the third letter and see how a G looks in that font...

Cogan's. And another PSA misidentification? Or is it that a century later PSA knows what it should have been, and that C on the card is a typo... nah. It is a C!!!!! Cogan's.

I'm moving this to the front page for higher visibility, I think there might be quite a few board members who might have an interest in this!
