I enjoy all kinds of vintage baseball cards. These are the larger variety (I am stretching the meaning of "baseball card") so aren't for everyone. But they are fun to collect and many have great images.
Here's Gehrig, in 1938, with the type 1 to go with it.

Im sure we will be seeing a bunch of "SAFE AT HOME" cards..... this guy played also and had a "rifle" arm.....

How about an original lobby card from the 1919 movie "The Busher". This movie ranks 7 on the earliest movies of all time about baseball.
