Safelon Super Star Lunch Bags 1976 and 78/9?
 

I'm trying to find out more about the Safelon Super Star Lunch bags. TCDB has a set of bags listed for 1976. Which all seem to have the MLBPA logo in the upper right. I have a picture of a Tom Seaver and a Pete Rose bag with the MLBPA logo in the lower right. There also seems to be a second set of these bags that came out in either 78 or 79 but it's not listed on TCDB and the info on the internet is rather sporadic.

Did a second set of lunch bags come out in 78 or 79?
Does this second set have the MLBPA logo in the lower right or are there variations from 76 set?

I went to ebay, as I had just been looking at these not that long ago. I found a lot of those you speak of and the first thing I thought was that they looked like factory errors. Seems like most of the bags have the images centered, but these 4 are close to the top. It's maybe possible that the print was off for some of these and resulted in "miscut" bags.

I don't know enough about the issue, but it would appear they were probably not issued more than one time.

I guess I missed the part where you said the logo was on the LEFT the first go around. Post the picture here.

I was wrong about the location of the MLBPA logo, it is on the right.

I guess I need to do some more overlays to see if the spacings are consistent between the drawing, label, and logo to see if it's a miscut, printing inconsistencies or a different set.
