eBay Oddity
 

So, recently when I've been bidding on items, as it gets down to the last few minutes I will go to My Ebay where all my bids are shown, and it might show 2 minutes and 37 seconds left. When I click on the item, it might show 15 seconds. I watch it count down and change to "ended", and then I refresh the page and it shows 2 minutes 22 seconds.

I refresh again and it might show ended still, but back to My Ebay and there's still over a minute left.

I check the timer (Auction ends at 5:30 tonight) and it appears that the 'ended' statuses correspond to the time on my PC, but the main page may still show 1 minute left, auction ending at 5:30, and my timer shows 5:31 or something.

This happens regardless of seller.

Has anyone else encountered something like this or am I in some weird twilight zone thing?

I have missed out on many irreplaceable items on eBay on my phone for a few reasons including the actual time remaining on the item not syncing with what my phone is saying, the other common problem was the phone saying that I had timed out when I would try to snipe at the last second. The problems I would have when I would try to snipe on my home computer are the computer stalling or losing the connection at the worst time possible.
