Would anyone offer me advice?

I have a wax box of 1984-85 OPC hockey cards that have 43 of the 48 unopened wax packs (I was young and stupid and opened 5 packs). Would it make sense to buy 5 of the missing unopened wax packs, so I can have them authenticated as a whole unopened wax box by BBCE to hopefully get a higher price per pack and make selling them easier?

Thanks for any advice you are willing to offer.

I do not see anything wrong in buying 5 packs from a respected dealer like Baseball Card Exchange and send them the box for authentication. I would not buy them from anyone on ebay.
Just my opinion.

I think if you take them to a show bbce is at you can just sell your incomplete box to them and they'll take care of the missing packs and hand you cash on the spot.
Not the best bang for your buck if you were to sell yourself but it's definitely simple and quick. They pay a pretty fair price is what I hear.

Thanks, that might be better than trying to sell them myself.
