How to post a scan...
How do I post a scan on the BST forum here? Can I just click and drag?
Thanks in advance... |

Make a new post. Then click on 'Manage Attachments' below. Then in the popup window, select 'Choose File', then click on 'Upload'. Then, close the popup window after the image uploads. It should now be attached with your post and will appear when you click 'Submit Reply'.
Note, .jpg files are probably best. You may have issues with other file formats. Also, there are size restrictions on the images that can be uploaded. |
Thx Snowman!

I use a free collage app (pic stitch) and it seems to post well on the board. Then do as Smowman said by choosing it from your pictures.

Just attaching the image is fine, but if you want to place a picture in a specific part of your post, like putting Mr. Jefferies here...
Attachment 572874 ...then use the paper clip to select the pic. It'll add it to where you have your cursor, as so... Attachment 572882 Attachment 572881 |
Thanks Jolly,
Never knew how to do that. |

This scan quality looks amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
If you have a directly hosted image, you can use the little yellow picture button (the one with the mountains and sun/moon). If I'm posting a bunch, I just use the tags: IMG in brackets, the URL, and the last bracket has the / character between the opening bracket and the I in IMG.
I don't know if this works, but take out the spaces from [ IMG ]whateverURLimage.extension[ /IMG ] It's also worth checking out image hosting sites to see if there are any with features you really like. |
Posting Images to Net54 Boards:
Scanned image will need to be converted to .jpg – I use an old Google product called Picassa for that (there are others also) I use a Free Flickr (flickr.com) account for creating online albums and then uploading scanned .jpg images to the cloud. Once you have uploaded an image to Flickr you will need to : • Select the image in your Flickr Album. • Scroll Down to “Viewing Privacy” options and change from PRIVATE to PUBLIC. • Then scroll back up and click on “Share Photo” which will give you several options for sharing. • I typically use “BBCODE” and copy that link over to my Net 54 post and Submit. • Your Image(s) will now appear in your post. • There are several other ways (including upload to Net54) but this has always worked for me. |
