Is it a W517 Mini or Exhibit?
1 Attachment(s)
Any help with this one is appreciated. Can anyone confirm that the 4 in 1 Exhibit did or didn’t use this particular photo? I can’t find a picture of the card with Jackson. If they did use it does it have anything extra added?
This one measures 1 9/16 x 2 9/16”. Looks to me that it is a W517 Mini with the border cut off. PSA missed the sizing when labeling it a standard W517. All opinions welcome. TIA |

ESCO did use the Jackson in its 4 on 1 issue
https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...%20Jackson.jpg but I think yours is a W517 mini owing to the stock. The Eshibit had a polished white front paper, the W517 had the same stock throughout. |

Why does the 4 in 1 Exhibit have players from 4 different teams. I thought those Exhibits all had players from the same team on them. At least all the ones I own do.

The regular size W517 cards came in at least two distinct card stocks, as seen in this scan: Attachment 572902 While scanning these two cards, which happen to be both of Bing Miller, I discovered something I had never noticed before, which I will share on a separate thread. Brian |

https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...%20Ruffing.jpg There were two 4 on 1 issues in the 1920s. The one shown above had ballplayers from different teams. https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...ul%20Vance.jpghttps://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...%20Donahue.jpg The other one, which is earlier, had ballplayers, boxers and actors: https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...%201%20a_1.jpghttps://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...in_prevost.jpg The latter had their own corresponding strip cards too https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...le%20strip.jpg https://photos.imageevent.com/exhibi...Unc%20Cobb.jpg |
Either way it is a great card to have
