Any legit totals or estimates on how many Sports related Collectables sold for $250,000 or more in the last 5 years ?--thanks

No idea. Maybe 1,000 sports cards?

Are we talking just sports cards (of any sport), are we talking any collectable? Are we talking all time or a smaller timeframe, and is the answer known?

if you just look at the bigger auction houses and the items over $250K even in the last few months the numbers are huge.
But also it depends as mentioned earlier what you define as the collectible you are counting and what time frame

actually seems like the items over $250K seems to be growing and the values seems to have more staying power(with institutional buys or new money coming in)
