How did I miss the end of this 'Bale Ruth' jersey patch signature auction?

Maybe I missed it when somebody posted about this previously, but I seriously need to work on polishing up my stick figure on cardboard artwork, because it will be tough to top the overall production value of this one:

What is the upside for a seller to sell this junk? Especially after building up a 100% feedback score after 200+ transactions? Won't this count as a major strike against the seller and make selling in the future harder?

Being recognized on Net54 for his listing will enhance his chances of getting accepted by an Ivy League college.

Wow give him credit for creative marketing

edges look a little rough, but should grade high nonetheless

With "Proceeds go to my college fund" and "southbend" in his name, I think Notre Dame is going to get a seriously ambitious new student in the fall!!!

Well played.

Upon first seeing the card and the winning bid, I thought it was more refrigerator art by Gary Vee.

Not my card.

NOT my card.

Absolutely not my card.

Is it common knowledge that Babe had three-toed emu feet? How did I miss that?!

Those are period correct spikes. My only concern would be the Babe's autograph on a chrome card. I don't think they were making cards and referring to them as "chrome" when Ruth was alive.

Other than that, I don't see any issues, although, of course, Ruth was much fatter than a stick man.

If only this artist didn't use the word chrome, which Topps trademarked for cards...

That is what the signature on this Chrome jersey patch slice of box cardboard looks like to me. But then again, I am no expert on signatures...this could just be how the Babe was signing during his later Blue Sharpie period.

C'mon, bale me out on this guys.

This card reminds me of the 1957 Aaron card, where Aaron is depicted as a lefty batter.

As a lefty, Babe should have the bat in the opposite hand, unless the image has been flipped and Babe now appears as a righty.

Could this be a rare error of the Babe and even more valuable than the seller realizes? Another Ebay seller not knowing what they have and left money on the table.

And a bargain too!
