Game used pants?
Gents, pardon my ignorance in this arena. A friend at MLB corporate office gave me some Manny Machado and Mike Trout pants. The Machado’s are comically huge but that’s its own story.
No holograms or anything. Is there any way to know if game used? |

They both look pretty much perfect other than some curl to the tag. So sounds like wouldn’t be game used then. Maybe issued but not used?

Usually pants will show signs of fraying or discoloration quicker than jerseys due to sliding, contact, even sitting on the bench. If they look brand new and came from corporate they are probably team issued, but hard to make an assumption without any pictures.
Do the pants at least have the players names printed inside? Without use or even team issued authentication there would be a lot of skeptics on the secondary market if you sold them, but the popularity of the players and MLB licensed branding with the players printed name inside will still find a market. |

I can't see why the MLB corporate office would have game used pants of two of the highest profile players in the game. Perhaps they are salesman samples?

No sweat stains on the lining, they look brand new actually.

Yes, I'm not totally sure what to make of these. What I will say is that the Machado pants are almost comically huge!
