FS-Reduced: 1907 NY Giants Team Print by Carl Horner

10 Attachment(s)
Extremely rare original print made by famed photographer Carl Horner of the 1907 New York Giants. Similar piece to his early 1900’s team composite photographs.

I had to research long and hard to find another one like it. One appeared in a Christie’s auction back in 1993. See images of catalog and listing below.

The print measures approximately 17” x 22”

Obviously, there is a lot of water damage, staining, and some paper loss. I would think it could be restored, if desired.

$2,200 $1,700 delivered, net to me with PayPal preferred.

I have a very nice frame measuring 28” x 35” that I would include for free if you are are willing to pay the actual shipping cost. You would just need to mat the print and get whatever kind of glass you want. See mock up with frame below.

Please PM or email kris.sweckard@sbcglobal.net to purchase or with any questions. Thanks!

Thanks for the nice comments, Jeff and Greg!

I have taken a large, one-time price reduction to $1,700. If it does not sell this week, I will put it back into my collection. Thanks for looking.

I'm doing the same thing, with the same thought...

Carl Horner caught red handed as plagiarist! The Matty image is not even his. He took the head shot from Falk's earlier street clothes studio portrait and crudely drew in the entire uniform and wrote "New York" across the chest. The sheer audacity of it!
