Looking for approx value 4 Paige Ball
 

Hi guys,
This belongs to my buddies neighbor. They already got a full PSA letter for it, and I'm not sure if they're going to sell privately, or auction etc, but they wanted to find out what a fair value was for it. I thought it could go for anywhere between 2k-6k but then saw it was on an old Official League ball, so I'm thinking between 2k-4k. Does that sound about right or am I way off? Would appreciate others opinions.

Last time I checked, something like this, given all the parameters...$1500? Maybe a bit better if they put a higher OBO on eBay and can wait. They've gone for less as well. It's been probably a year or so since I've researched this, so take from it what you will. I recall that prices were all over the place a few years back. It was odd. I think I saw a couple authentic and somewhat comparable to this one, one certed, one not, went for as low as $800. Again, that is pre-pandemic. I'll stick with $1500 retail being on the high side of acceptable for this one, but might be a tough mover due to the issues in the first name.

I know one thing. You will not get top dollar because of the ball itself not being official.

Thanks to both of you. Not sure why, but quite a few Paige balls are on "official" balls. Not as desirable, but if you're looking for a single signed ball for the collection, it's the next best thing. I would definitely at least consider one of these, as opposed to the new Official balls since the new ones are total crap and ink will not adhere to them.

$1500 - $2000 is the likely range IMO. If on an OAL baseball from his playing days, then probably $5000 or more.
