1951 Topps Red Back set still attached 2 card panels
A collector trying to sell his 1951 Topps Red back attached set (2 card panels) Told him to send to a AH --is looking for 8,000 which seems steep for the set ungraded--??--I suppose not on most upper end collectors wish list either?

does it have both variation panels?

variation panels
I know he has the set--not to sure he would know about any variation ,advise on variations, I will ask him?

This pack has a full set of redback panels, plus 4 or 6 Connie Mack or Current All Stars, but likely no variations, just one or the other version. Also has a game board. Don't think it is worth $ 8000

I assume 2 card attached panels do have a premium, how much more is debatable--I am trying to get him to think about the AH Route. This old time collector has a awesome valuable collection!

Tom--Panels carry a premium over singles. Graded panels carry a premium over non graded panels ( in similar condition), and Blue backs carry a premium over Reds. But I think your compatriot will find $8000 out of reach for a nice ungraded set of Red back panels. Hope I am wrong
