Michael Jordan Signed Rookie (replica) Jersey

I saw a couple of threads for Jordan signatures. I think he’s a pretty difficult signature to figure out. Any opinions on this? It DOES NOT have a cert.

No chance IMO.

Nice try but NO !
The M on Michael is not right & the J on Jordan NOT right |
I hated to play games, but this was one of those “I already knew the answer before I posted it”. This is 100% authentic and was signed in front of me. This is simply one of those autographs that are fairly atypical, but completely legit.

Personally not a fan of ambush posts. If posted in relation to nothing, as this was, then it has no more meaning than, "Made whoever answered look like a fool". Nothing personal whatsoever. Just don't care for it. |
No offense taken, but I had no nefarious intentions. Just wanted to show that there are many atypical autographs out there that at first glance don’t look good...but really are.

My uncle was Jordan’s bodyguard numerous times from roughly 1998-2005ish. I have about 20 Jordan autographs; all signed in front of me except one thing...
I gave my uncle a Jordan rookie card (1986 Fleer) to get signed for me before rookie card signatures were “cool”. Later that day my uncle called me to come over and pick it up. My uncle hands me the Jordan rookie, beautiful bold blue Sharpie in a perfect place. As I look closer....Jordan signed the protective plastic card holder. No joke. I sold it here on net54 a couple of years ago to an active collector for $400. I realize the jersey is a little atypical, but it was signed in front of me that day along with 2 baseballs. One single signed, and one multi signed. I’ll post a pic of the multi-signed shortly. Quote:

Yes! Exactly. Mario Lemieux ran a huge golf tournament every year. My uncle ran the cop detail. He eventually became semi close to him. I had a chance to get many others on the ball, but I wanted only the best players from each sport. While Jordan wanted to be a social butterfly, Charles Barkley was by far the most down to earth and normal. When Charles found out that it was one of the cop’s birthday, Charles and his wife took the cop and his wife out to dinner. Then went over the cop’s house for a huge PPV boxing match. Class act all the way.

The rest of the world wished Jordan would still want to be a social butterfly! Talk about a guy with a massive profile who you just don't hear anything about anymore. I can only imagine what he pays to keep such a low profile. This thought had crossed my mind a lot over the past few years.
|
He was most certainly a social butterfly in the early 2000s. While most of the guys wanted to stay in and play cards, he was all too eager to go out every night haha.
