Announcement: New YouTube Channel... TSOG !
I know what you're thinking.... What the heck is TSOG?
It's short for "The Stuff Of Greatness"... A brand new YouTube Channel that focuses on vintage Baseball Cards and rare Memorabilia. My friend Bart and I have been working on this concept for nearly 2 years, and it has finally come to fruition! The goal is to share some of my favorite (and rarest) pieces, and to draw new collectors into this wonderful hobby. Each week, we will be adding a couple of new videos to the YouTube Channel. There are only 5 videos posted to date, but if you subscribe, you'll be notified as the new videos are added. Be sure to check in periodically, as we intend to add new videos each week for at least the next couple of years! Here is a link to the YouTube Channel... https://www.youtube.com/@tsogreatness We are keeping the videos brief (about 2 minutes long, on average), so we don't monopolize your time. Please let me know what you think as it continues to evolve. It is heavy on vintage memorabilia, but pre and post war cards will be featured ongoing, as well. The date range of potential items is huge.... everything from the Civil War era through the 1970s. Lastly, below is a link to the TSOG web page... https://www.thestuffofgreatness.com/ I really appreciate the support of this great forum, and hope you will enjoy the content. Please let me know what you think, and many thanks for your consideration! Mark |
Nice job on this Mark, enjoyed the videos. You have a helluva collection there.
Enjoyed the videos! Awesome stuff! Great job!!!!
Good stuff. I love how you keep the videos short, some YouTubers just blab on and on.
beautifully done!!
Just subscribed.
Thank you!
I just subscribed as well. I also like that they are short and informative too.

Great videos and rare stuff. Promoted your channel through my channel. Good luck
Very well done! Will be checking back regularly
Great videos, looking forward to it. You could probably even stretch them a few minutes longer if you wanted. In your trailer video, who's doing the narrating? It sounds like Liev Schreiber of HBO 24/7.
I must be in the minority in that i enjoy longer videos if it is on a subject I enjoy.
I would rather watch a show/podcast than a tiktok but to each their own. |
AWESOME job! It is simply impossible to not get excited and feel your passion for the hobby.

Instead of having your next video set in a beautifully maintained, exquisite, museum-like exhibit area, I suggest you shoot it in some dingy, fleabag motel, and pull items out of dilapidated, mold-spored cardboard boxes with a look of utter hopelessness on your face, so us 'regular' (poor) collectors can feel a little more at home. :D
I mean, nice job!! |
Great job with the videos! You have a new subscriber! Looking forward to seeing your collection!
Can't wait to see you get into something about those tabletop vintage baseball arcade games I saw in your pilot video. Those are the kind of things you never see people posting and talking about. Great stuff.
Great videos. I’m looking forward to these each week. Tremendous job.
Just finished watching the videos. Can’t wait for future episodes!!
Thanks so much to all who have watched and subscribed! There is a lot more to come, so please stay tuned. Some of the upcoming segments will definitely be longer, but roughly 2 minutes is the general guideline.
I too enjoy longer videos, if the subject matter is compelling. But attention spans seem to be shrinking these days, and we want to keep it fresh. Thanks again to all of you for the tremendous support... Great Stuff! |
Very cool. Congrats! I watched a few - that’s one hell of a collection!
