Very Sad News Bill Huggins

I just saw a post on FB that Bill, whom I have known for more than 40 years and was the Huggins in Huggins and Scott passed on today.

I loved chatting with Bill whenever I saw and met the other members of his family on many occasions and will miss him dearly

Regards
Rich

So sad. One of the true icons of the hobby and a good, honest guy. Condolences to Ricky and all of Bill's family. The hobby has lost one its giants.

Oh my goodness! I consigned with Bill and talked to him at shows, including Chantilly and the National.

Not to get personal as this tragic news is breaking, but did something happen suddenly or had he been ill recently?

I had the pleasure of speaking with Bill Huggins many times. He was always kind and sharing. I asked him about finding the second known T206 Doyle variation card and he gave me all of the amazing information. RIP Bill.

I just got an email from them... so sad to hear...always enjoy buying or selling with them. My condolences to the Huggins Family and those affiliated with his business.

Thank you. An extraordinarily tough day at the office.

Thanks Dale. I’ve written all of the sets you’ve consigned. It wasn’t sudden and he passed away peacefully.

Bill was someone I greatly enjoyed. RIP Bill.
The hobby is worse off today. This thread will be locked, as there is another one going.
