Here is a recent cool pickup of mine:
This circa 1907-1914 RPPC of Detroit Tigers RHP great "Wabash George" Mullin. Wabash George pitched for 12 years in the AL and 2 years in the Federal League. Mullin was the ace of the Tigers pitching staff and was instrumental in helping the Ty Cobb led Tigers to 3 consecutive appearances in the World Series from 1907-1909. Ironically, Mullin pitched a no-hitter on his birthday July 4th, 1912 against the STL Browns @ DET. Aside from the great formal image, IMHO what makes this RPPC next-level cool is that the photo was taken in George's chosen hometown of Wabash, IN. This RPPC is a perfect fit for my advanced no-hitter collection Show us your favorite RPPC's! |

It's rough, but you won't find another. It's signed and I have provenance that it was mailed directly from Henderson.
