Why No Harry Hooper T206?

There is no doubt a reasonable answer from the learned scholars here as to why there is no T206 card of Harry Hooper, one of my favorite 'Dead Ball" era players, which has always alluded me.

My understanding is that Harry's RC is from the E254 Colgan Chips from 1909-1911 set, the exact period over which the T206's were issued. So why no Harry? Was it a tobacco issue like Honus?

Because the lithographers didn’t have a signed release form from him. I doubt we will ever know why many specific players did or did not sent one and did or did not consent to sign them. I don’t think we have a conclusive answer for even one single subject. As Hooper was an average player in 1909 and 1910 I doubt any real significance was given to him.
