The set on top has the tape on the box but the sets in the case are the non-taped variety. Why the difference in the same case?

The opened case was purchased with sets that are taped and untaped. They are the same set and all unopened/ Unsearched. I have not a clue why some are taped by the factory and others not. The box lid design does not allow it to be opened without evidence it has been pryed open. Meaning if you attempt to open you will crease the cardboard lid. These have not been opened.
