Just got my cards back from my submission to CSG. I was happy to see they caught something I had no idea of. There is a tiny bit of recolor on the front, top in the orange. I would never have even checked for it. I will post some others later too... I think they did a great job but we'll see what others think.
For transparency sake, they are an advertiser. And I apologize for these and future dog hairs on my scanner screen. I just took in another stray and she is a long hair. :) A blue heeler mix.

It might be what we need the TPG's for, the most.

I think they deliver a good product. If they had a PC sized holder I'd do more with them.

They also caught a trimmed 52 Topps card that I didn't notice before sending it in a few months back. The card measures correctly, so I didn't notice it at first. That said, they have also false flagged a few cards, so there is a tradeoff. Although no TPG is as bad as PSA is currently with false flagging. Most PSA graders are clueless on anything produced prior to 2018 nowadays.

Not on topic but Joe Louis 48 is a card that pops.

PSA employee opens two card order.

Card 1: OK, 2021 Topps sparkle shimmer super sizzle laser-cut rainbow-fractor, road jersey variation. No problem.

Card 2, a Billy Ripken FF card: Hmmm, I think I've seen these before. What set is this again? Let me go ask the vintage expert...

Nice cards Leon. I love the clarity of their slab, but many smaller cards that they slab sit just a bit cockeyed in their holder which really drives me nuts. Your two are actually 2 of the better ones I’ve seen.

I think they need to work on that as most pre war cards they holder display this trait. Post war they seem to have it solved as the inner frame fits the card.

Maybe over time they’ll perfect a pre war slab where they won’t need to pinch the 4 sides of a baggie. Just my opinion as presentation is everything

Thanks Tony. I think the cards might move a little, on some, but certainly no worse then the other TPG's, in my opinion. And this will sound very biased but every grade, of the 25 cards sent in, was spot on to me.

They definitely need, asap, a holder to fit postcards. They told me a few months ago it's being worked on.

Leon,

What was your turn around time from when you shipped to having the cards back in your hands?

The cards look great in the slabs.

I gave the cards to them at the Dallas Card Show, a few shows back. It was a bulk deal. I would guess 10-12 weeks total. I was told that on the front end and didn't care.

Here is what is posted on their website currently -

Certified Sports Guaranty® (CSG®) is excited to announce that it has virtually eliminated its submission backlog and, as a result, turnaround times are back to the original goal of two months or faster. As of March 7, 2022, the turnaround time for Bulk submissions is 45 days, while Economy is now at 25 days, Standard is at 15 days, Express is at 7 days and the WalkThrough tiers are at 3 days. See current turnaround times here.

They told me a year and a half ago that they were working on t202 holders. Don't know if they ever developed one.
