.I was going through a really well-done scrapbook I had purchased (for the cards inside) and I found this , from Yankees Spring Training in March of 1936 . :

..He wore "18" in 1936 Spring training. Finding Erickson in a Yankees uniform is difficult , but here's his R-314 Type 5 from 1937 when he was back on the farm team , Toronto Maple Leafs ?

The Italian Army invaded Ethiopia five months prior on October 3rd 1935, so a contemporary reference at the time. Very cool piece.
