Sad News -- Mark Anderson

Long time Beckett teammate of mine and one of the original Beckett Grading Services managers Mark Anderson passed on today.

He later became a beloved DFW area card dealer and we would see him at all the major Dallas Card Show events.

I, along with many others, will miss him terribly.

Regards
Rich

This is awful news. I just saw him and we chatted for a good while, at the last Dallas Card Show. Mark was a super nice guy and great hobbyist. He was always happy even in his worst times.
I knew Mark for 20+ years and considered him a friend and hobby friend. RIP Mark, you will be missed.

Terrible news. Mark was a great guy, very friendly all around. When he ran Beckett Grading, IMHO, that was when Beckett had the best customer service, very fair and reasonable. RIP.

Very sorry to learn of Mark's passing. I recall having a nice chat with him at the 2008 National during which he alluded to the fact that he was dealing with a serious health matter even then. Didn't say what, and I didn't ask. It was our one and only meeting but he stayed in my memory as a bright and kind fellow. Rest in peace.

Mark was a fixture at the Dallas area card shows the last few years in his post Beckett years. He dealt with his health issues, at the same time he did his best to care for his daughter as a divorced parent with joint custody. To say he had a lot on his plate would be an understatement. Yet, he never complained, always a smile.

My wife and I were a bit concerned when we didn't see him this weekend at the Arlington show, obviously the ongoing health issues had taken their toll. He will be missed by all of us that knew him.
