1952 Topps Colors .
I am in awe of many of these '52's ; the colors . Historic set for a reason : look at the details on Monty Irvin's uniform .Konstanty's and Roe's backgrounds.

Flexichrome was a heck of a process, that's for sure, especially for portraits:

Topps really came out with both guns blazing in 1952. No more second fiddle to Bowman. It's amazing the colors, photography, layout, etc on those cards. Much better than some of their efforts 15 or so years later. I'm talking to you, 1968 and 1969 Topps!
