Hidden Gem Football Pennants in Huggins & Scott
 

Huggins & Scott (closing this Thursday) has a few sweet vintage football pennants in their current auction.

First is the great Salivating Chicago Bears pennant. A vicious Bear Mascot is prominently featured and is quite intimidating. I would grade it at least EX+, but Huggins disappointingly graded it VG/EX. It is actually the nicest surviving example I have seen...

Second is a pair of defunct 1950s Chicago Cardinals Pennants (prior to Arizona and St. Louis). It looks like the tip ends got crimped a bit in shipping, but these will iron or steam out flat, with very little effort...
