Opinions on Ruth, Foxx, Mack signed baseball, please...
3 Attachment(s)
Hey guys........I have a friend asking me about authenticity of these signatures on a baseball. I have not personally seen this ball in person. The ball is unmarked and has a hodgepodge of signatures including a lot of Cubs players over the years including Banks....and there are these 3 guys, as well. My first thought on the Ruth was that the letters look spaced too far apart in 'Babe', but other aspects I like. The Foxx and Mack look good to me, but I know there were clubhouse versions of Mack. Thank you in advance for all of your opinions and thoughts.......Matt

I agree the Ruth looks a little off but it could be good. The Foxx and Mack look good to me although the Foxx is pretty faint. Mack clubhouse signatures are very close to the real thing but I am pretty sure this one is good.

My opinion is it’s good.

The Ruth is a little atypical, especially in the last name, but is 100% authentic.

Thanks guys for your help. I'll pass along the info on to my friend.

There's a Bill Schuster autograph in addition to the Ernie Banks. Shuster played for the Cubs from 1943 to 1945.
