I’m more offended that somebody was dumb enough to bid already than that a scammer is scamming.

The scam is now going on with eBay's knowledge. I called them to have the lot removed and they declined.

I guess if it gets above the threshold, the authenticity program will ensure that it is rejected.

I believe the folks at Ebay hope it sells for $249, or whatever is just below their authentication program, because that is how confident they are that this is a legitimate 1933 Goudey Renata Galasso Reprint variation, which as of now, is still uncatalogued.

It appears the other poster was referring to the M101-5 Ruth, which has indeed been pulled.
