NOT a True T206 Nodgrass Error
A piece of the right side of the "S" should still be present. Careful Folks.

These videos might help....
The legit Nodgrass version: https://youtu.be/-K8pwQCLgmw The "fake" version: https://youtu.be/N7SxYL3be5U |
The partial S I think is there if you look at the really bad closeup. The upper part only, the lower is gone because of the paper loss.
|
Looks like the S has been erased

I bought this (authentic) Nodgrass summer 1991, and I was the first one to have PSA slab it with the proper labeling (I later sold it, then recently reacquired it...someone along the way had it reholdered, but PSA did not carryover the proper label. It's authentic, nonetheless).
And as Dan pointed out (Hi Dan!), authentic examples have a small part of the "S". |
It doesn't look like part of the right side of the S is showing?

It's there, just hard to see due to the crease.

I heard neither SGC nor PSA would label "unusual" looking t206s on the label or won't even encapsulate them anymore. |

Scott L- looks legit.
Chris- thanks! I wish PSA would relabel it like they had originally done, but I called them, they said they don’t label printing errors anymore, frustrating. I’ll try again in the future, see if they’ll do it. |
