When is an A10 not an A10?

Consider this listing in Grey Flannel's current auction:
https://www.greyflannelauctions.com/...-LOT49740.aspx

The jersey is described as graded MEARS A10. It also has a Photo-Match grade of 8+. And when this shirt was graded, those were probably justified grades. However, look at the pictures of the shirt now. It has serious staining on the collar, front and back. So, is this shirt still an A10, or an 8+, and should it be described as such?

I am most likely wrong, but I thought grades on those unis, bats etc.. were for authenticity and not condition?

The grade is mostly based on authenticity, game-usage and apparent level of restoration. But condition flaws also factor in, often as “half-grade” deductions.

Yes, there is no way that jersey, with those big stains front and back, is still an A10.
