Fake T206s on eBay - just in case any new collectors don't know.
These are obvious fakes if you have any experience with T206s, but if you are brand new, it's possible to be fooled because they appear to be Xeroxes/scans of real fronts/backs. Would hate for a new member to have a bad experience early on.
I messaged the seller and got the expected response. These are all counterfeit - there is no doubt. One quick giveaway is the Lundgren Cubs Shirt card with the Sweet Caporal back... https://www.ebay.com/sch/jasonandgle...75.m3561.l2562 Myself and a lot of other members can elaborate on why these are obvious fakes if anyone wants to ask. |

The graphics are good, but the corner wear is unnatural and the boarders are HUGE.

Cobb
I reported the Cobb yesterday to eBay but also said they were all fakes. Did mention that the Cobb back with that front did not even exist!

Every one of the listings also incudes a statement that the seller doesn't know if they're authentic. Authenticity disclaimers are specifically prohibited by eBay, and are reportable as one of the options under the "copyright and trademark" category.
Ebay may or may not know that these are fake, but that's a clear listing policy violation regardless. |

And they're all gone now. Just clicked through and the seller has nothing listed, and none of the t206 fakes in completed/sold listings. |
Grab screenshots next time. The listing was pulled by the time I saw this.
It would be nice to start a visual library of fakes. |

That is a great idea. Maybe even a great idea for a standalone thread to be added to by board members. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
