Identifying Duke Snider Jersey
 

Hey all,

I was hoping to get a few more eyes on this jersey patch of Duke Snider's and see if we can figure out what the patch is from. It's not the Mets symbol since is not round, but I can't find any other patches from that era of Mets jerseys that have a square patch except 1965 which had the Worlds Fair patch, but Snider only played there in 1963. I'm not entirely sure that it isn't a Dodgers jersey patch of some sort. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Snider was sold to the Giants on April 14, 1964, so he would've been issued a Mets jersey in the spring of 1964, and the Mets had those World's Fair patches in both '64 and '65. Which makes sense since the fair was in 1964.

So, assuming that it's an authentic Snider game used jersey, my guess is it's a 1964 spring training used shirt.
