This year the Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman & Trea Turner each finished with:

– 190+ hits
– 100+ RBI
– 35+ 2B
– 20+ HR
– 10+ SB
– multiple 12+ game hit streaks

The only other duo in MLB history to do all of those in the same season was Babe Ruth & Bob Meusel for the 1921 Yankees.

Wow! Some great stats.

I was rooting for Turner to become only the second player to have 3 20 game hit streaks in a season. Got close with 16 late in the year for his run at a third.
