He Changed :

1) the title from “Babe Ruth Rookie card with Rare Back “ to “ Babe Ruth 1916 Rookie card # 151 H.Weil Baking Company. Boston Red Socks (sic)

2) the description to include that the card will be sent to authenticate and encapsulate

3) the price from $1,785,000 to $1,885,000.

Notice how he bypasses eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee program by offering free local pick-up.

Shocking that someone would try gaming the system....

Nothing says genuine quite like spelling the baseball Sox as "Socks" :D

I'd be interested if he had kept it protected in a screwdown holder.

I think the seller accidentally got his decimal point in the wrong place. He probably meant for the price to be $18.85 which, with free shipping, is somewhat reasonable. :)

Offered $1. Declined. I'm done.

Well done. Ninety cents more than I would have offered.

Check the seller's other e-bay items for sale, some other key vintage Ruth cards/images, just not ones that I have ever seen in baseball card format before.

He must work in a nail salon or a wood shop. He does such a great job rounding the corners.

The seller took it down as there was an error in the listing. Yeah, ok.
